Teachers in the school do not care to better their students. They don't try helping with the kids and their struggles. (Second grader) Looks like they could care less. Very disappointed with how they handle things with hard working but yet struggling students.
This is the third elementary school we have attended since living in Citrus County. I have moved my kids out of zone to attend here. It is by far the best school they have went to. The staff and teachers are awesome and really care about all of the kids. The principal, Nancy Simon, actually directs the traffic herself in the morning and keeps that line MOVING like nobody else can!! She is out there greeting parents, by name, which was very impressive to me!

My two children have been attending Central Ridge since Kindergarten. My son is currently a 4th grader and my daughter is a 2nd grader. The teachers and staff are absolutely amazing and Nancy Simon is the best principal when it comes to making sure her students succeed. She is all over the place, directing traffic in the am and pm, walking the school to every classroom every day and she makes an effort to get to know every student and the parents too. Same goes for out experience with the teacher and educators. I have one child who excels and one needs more direction and I have to say the teachers have gone above and beyond for us. They care and it shows. My kids love to be students here and our school grade speaks for itself
